- To Create a website to provide a freely available online archive of heritage related multimedia.
- Provide talks, speakers and heritage related events and displays.
- To digitise and transcribe Parish registers and documents to preserve the content
- Record long term resident’s memories.
- Offer free family history advice and help, to create a Broughton family tree linking families throughout generations.
- To establish which families, have the longest history within the town.
- Map the development and landscape of the village / town through the decades.
- Record house ownership and occupation
