Anglo-Saxon Re-enactment 30th April  - Mon 2nd May 2016

950th anniversary celebration 1066-2016 event over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Regia Anglorum created a living history camp, an Anglo-Saxon settlement with demonstrations of skirmishes, drill, use of arms and various crafts, around the church.

The church was open during the day and an illustrated leaflet, with a floor plan, was available to enable you to seek out the historical treasures within its walls. Our church is unique, with a tower which stood at the time of the Norman Conquest, almost 1000 years ago.
